What is a Blog?
A blog (a truncation of the expression "weblog") is a discussion or informational website published on the World Wide Web consisting of discrete, often informal diary-style text entries (posts). Posts are typically displayed in reverse chronological order, so that the most recent post appears first, at the top of the web page.
Types of Blog:
There are many different types of blogs, differing not only in the type of content but also in the way that content is delivered or written.

Personal blogs:
The personal blog is an ongoing online diary or commentary written by an individual, rather than a corporation or organization. A tiny number of personal bloggers have become famous, both in the online community and in the real world.
Collaborative blogs or group blogs:
A type of weblog in which posts are written and published by more than one author. The majority of high-profile collaborative blogs are based around a single uniting theme, such as politics, technology or advocacy. In recent years, the blogosphere has seen the emergence and growing popularity
Microblogging:
Microblogging is the practice of posting small pieces of digital content—which could be text, pictures, links, short videos, or other media—on the Internet. Friends use it to keep in touch, business associates use it to coordinate meetings or share useful resources, and celebrities and politicians (or their publicists) microblog about concert dates, lectures, book releases, or tour schedules. A wide and growing range of add-on tools enables sophisticated updates and interaction with other applications. The resulting profusion of functionality is helping to define new possibilities for this type of communication. Examples of these include Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr and, by far the largest, Weibo.
Corporate and organizational blogs:
A blog can be private, as in most cases, or it can be for business or not-for-profit organization or government purposes. Blogs used internally, and only available to employees via an Intranet are called corporate blogs. Companies use internal corporate blogs enhance communication, culture and employee engagement in a corporation. Internal corporate blogs can be used to communicate news about company policies or procedures, build employee esprit de corps and improve morale. Companies and other organizations also use external, publicly accessible blogs for marketing, branding, or public relations purposes. Some organizations have a blog authored by their executive; in practice, many of these executive blog posts are penned by a ghostwriter, who makes posts in the style of the credited author. Similar blogs for clubs and societies are called club blogs, group blogs, or by similar names; a typical use is to inform members and other interested parties of the club and member activities.
Aggregated blogs:
Individuals or organization may aggregate selected feeds on a specific topic, product or service and provide a combined view for its readers. This allows readers to concentrate on reading instead of searching for quality on-topic content and managing subscriptions. Many such aggregations called planets from the name of Planet (software) that perform such aggregation, hosting sites usually have a planet. subdomain in the domain name (like http://planet.gnome.org/).
By Genre:
Some blogs focus on a particular subject, such as political blogs, journalism blogs, health blogs, travel blogs (also known as travelogs), gardening blogs, house blogs, book blogs, fashion blogs, beauty blogs, lifestyle blogs, party blogs, wedding blogs, photography blogs, project blogs, psychology blogs, sociology blogs, education blogs, niche blogs, classical music blogs, quizzing blogs, legal blogs (often referred to as a blawgs), or dreamlogs. How-to/Tutorial blogs are becoming increasingly popular. Two common types of genre blogs are art blogs and music blogs. A blog featuring discussions especially about home and family is not uncommonly called a mom blog and one made popularly is by Erica Diamond who created Womenonthefence.com which is syndicated to over two million readers monthly. While not a legitimate type of blog, one used for the sole purpose of spamming is known as a splog.
By media type:
A blog comprising videos is called a vlog, one comprising links is called a linklog, a site containing a portfolio of sketches is called a sketch blog or one comprising photos is called a photoblog. Blogs with shorter posts and mixed media types are called tumblelogs. Blogs that are written on typewriters and then scanned are called typecast or typecast blogs. A rare type of blog hosted on the Gopher Protocol is known as a phlog.
By device:
A blog can also be defined by which type of device is used to compose it. A blog written by a mobile device like a mobile phone or PDA could be called a moblog. One early blog was Wearable Wireless Webcam, an online shared diary of a person's personal life combining text, video, and pictures transmitted live from a wearable computer and EyeTap device to a website. This practice of semi-automated blogging with live video together with text was referred to as sousveillance. Such journals have been used as evidence in legal matters.
Reverse blog:
A reverse blog is composed by its users rather than a single blogger. This system has the characteristics of a blog and the writing of several authors. These can be written by several contributing authors on a topic or opened up for anyone to write. There is typically some limit to the number of entries to keep it from operating as a web forum.

Where to go for writing Blog?

There are three things one need to publish a successful blog and make money in the shortest amount of time possible.
The effort is the main fuel of writing a blog with expertise.
It's the effort word that trips most people up.
Start writing the blog today with your daily happenings or feelings.
Choose the right niche
This is the most difficult part. The right niche is different for every person. I'd probably be lost in the beauty niche but I'm at home in the fashion and marketing spaces.
The right niche and then the right angle depends on many factors.
What are your strengths?
What are your interests?
Is there a market where the two intersect?
Remember, you can never be too beautiful, too wealthy, or too loved.
Here's an in-depth post about market research and niche selection.
Build your mailing list
Email has a higher ROI than social media, paid advertising, and influencer marketing.
Without a mailing list, there's a real possibility of losing it all if Google decides to stop sending you traffic, Facebook changes their algorithm, or Quora shuts down.
These are third-party platforms other people own.
You know what you own?
Your mailing list and your website.
Those are your assets.
Use list building software to build a mailing list of people who are interested in what you have to say.
When you have a product or service to sell, let your list know first. They'll be your biggest advocates.
Create a product (or choose a product) to sell.
Creating products is the best way to produce a large income for yourself. Advertising pays peanuts and sponsored posts are - at best - a temporary fix.
With your own products, you can keep 100% of the revenue.
The hardest part is knowing what to make.
There are a few simple ways to figure it out.
Ask your email list (yea, your email list again) with a survey
Check your analytics to see what your most popular articles are to produce a product around that
See what's working for other people in your space (This is dangerous because every audience is different)
Here's the truth, it takes time to make money blogging and build your audience.
If you don't have the resources or energy to put in then it's best not to start.
Before you can ever hope to replace your income through blogging full time, give it - at a minimum - a few months.

I am a person who works hard in being morally correct. In blogging, there are many different paths that one can take to be cheap inside. One of them is giving false advertising.

There are ways to earn a living as a blogger. As an example, Google AdSense comes to mind. You see, I pay for my website to create content and make it easier for others to find these articles or recordings. I choose Google AdSense to share their ads on my website. Everytime anyone clicks on these banners, I receive some money. The amount I receive can range from $0.01 to about $2.00, with the potential of more than $10.00 per each click. When a person clicks on these ads, they are not purchasing anything. They are invited to a site that an advertiser paid for. I believe that only if a person finds something interesting in that ad should they click on it.

The next way for someone to earn something is by way of Amazon Affiliate. We all purchase from Amazon. By purchasing a product from Amazon through the blogger, you are giving that blogger a commission for introducing you to the product. You will not be charged extra for doing this. You will not give any vital information to the blogger for purchasing something through their Amazon Affiliate link. What you will give is a chance for someone to get paid for creating something valuable. The kindness by a writer, who opened a reader's mind, would be met with kindness from the purchaser, who in turn made it possible for a blogger to get monetary compensation. Again, do not purchase anything you do not wish. When you do want to buy something on Amazon, try to do this through a blogger because they will receive 4-10 per cent from Amazon on commissions without any financial harm to you.
Bloggers do not get paid for writing their articles unless they are a part of an organization. Most bloggers are not employed by anyone and make their money through the means I mentioned earlier. Some writers guess post on other blogger websites for free. They do this to garner new eyes for their blog. Some of us write to help someone and try to make a living from this. Others in this profession focus on making money through bait and switch methods. As we see on those videos, their views are tremendous. Having a lot of views on YouTube or a blog potentially brings a lot of profit. I believe it is morally unacceptable to falsely advertise a product or service, but it is not pleasant when you find out someone viewed a product on Amazon due to your article and bought that product, not through your affiliate link.
Remember, we all need to earn a living. Being able to write an article and help people is a wonderful thing. Ending up homeless due to the care for others is not. Where it is possible, help a blogger by commenting on their blog post, share it with others, clicking on ads that interest you, and buying Amazon products through affiliate links. They will be able to financially survive while helping others and morally be someone to look up to.
I'll skip the basics of setup and style and go straight to the simplest answer: generate traffic. The more traffic you get, the more options open up to you in terms of monetising - after a certain point, advertisers and brands will start approaching you, instead of you having to approach them.
The 8 major reasons that people don't get traffic to new blogs are:
They write in high competition topics. Sure, everyone may be searching for information on Weight Loss, but if your blog post doesn't appear till page 98 on Google, no one's going to see it.
They write in low traffic topics. You can rank #1 for Purple Pigeon Poop in Google, but if no one is Googling it, it's a pointless keyword victory.
They spend too much time on promotion. Why write a blog post and spend 10 hours promoting it on short-term traffic sites, on accounts with only a couple of hundred followers? Instead, you can use that time to write ten more blog posts. Google assigns authority based on the amount of content. If two sites have great articles on a topic, the one with the most content (the bigger site) will often rank better.
They optimise off-site instead of on site. They'll share. They'll pin. They'll social bookmark. But they forget that the best way to generate traffic is to make the content easy to read and easy to share. Add subtitles for easy skimming, add a nice image with title, suitable for Pinterest pinning, add clear share buttons and a call to action to answer a question in the comments or share with their friends. Let visitors do the work of promoting for you!
They write on topics they think are interesting, but others don't. What are people actually typing into Google? Probably not what you think. People Google questions - so a great place to get topic inspiration is Quora. Facebook groups and sites like Yahoo Answers are some other great ways to find out what your audience really wants to know.
They forget that traffic increases with time. Many people share their blog post, then feel as if its a failure because it only got a few views in the first week. That's normal! Content can take up to 6–9 months to start seeing organic traffic and good content will increase in traffic as time goes on and it's shared, linked to and increases in Google rankings.
They don't write evergreen content. Don't write posts that are only relevant today, this month or this year - you'll be competing with far bigger news sites. Write content that will always be current - recipes, how to guides, humour, tips.
Their site doesn't have a central topic. Sure, it may be fun to write about giraffes at the zoo one day, then your favourite recipe the next, but this confuses Google. You'll only build up authority (and traffic) to your site if you regularly write about the same topics, so Google sees you as an authority on those topics.
The best you can do to get started is create a LOT of content on your site. See what works. Promote what does well, improve, ignore or delete what doesn't.
